  • @brett My guess is that she strikes people as a spoiled brat who can shrug off wrecking two pricey cars (assuming the first car was a prestige auto, too) because she hung out with "bestie roxy." She comes off as irresponsible and unappreciative, I think.

  • What's pricey to you, may not be pricey to others. Substitute any other brand... is it still TTH?

  • If you substitute another brand, maybe it's a TTH ... because for me it still suffers from the qualities I noted above. But the Benz heightens the effect -- no doubt. I'd guess that most people consider a Benz to be pricey.

I'm goin out on a limb here, but I think you've got the "self-important" virus and don't have a clue about it! Haha =p Like every one of your defenses start out with you not understanding how its TTH, while everyone else is hammering the "back pat" button.

  • @krazyken04 Not all, but some. It's all context. There are a lot of people whom wouldn't see this as TTH at all, it's relative as to whom you're around when you say it. With a country club crowd, this might not be all that unusual (not TTH). For average people maybe it is TTH. I think the problem is that people tweet for THEIR own crowd, it's only when people outside with a different social and economic situation (and a different sense of humor) where things become TTH. Just my two cents.

  • I hear you, Brett, but I actually think many in the country club crowd would be offended by her message because it shows such a lack of appreciation for the privilege she enjoys. That, to me, is the problem with her tweet ... and I don't think you need to be an "average person" to feel resentful of such an attitude.
