  • Uh huh. Because at midnight on 31 December 2006 a million LOL cats died and crowned you God of Social Media

  • This tweet gets an interesting response. It's not ABOUT me. I'm not an expert on social media and never said I was. What I DID say is that people who've just joined aren't experts and shouldn't claim to be.

  • So, if you're not an expert, then what makes you an expert on experts?

  • The way you've expressed your point -- particularly with the capitalization of the word "NOT" -- suggests that you view yourself as having some authority on the issue. (Your posts have an odd quality of expressing something that you insist never was meant to be expressed.) More importantly, this is another argument that doesn't necessarily hold true. Simply by virtue of being on Twitter in 2007 doesn't make one an authority, necessarily; conversely, it's entirely possible that someone who wasn't on Twitter in 2007 -- and instead was linked into other social networks -- can still possess authority. What makes Twitter so singularly important?

  • That's like saying, "If you weren't alive during the Triassic period, you are NOT an expert on dinosaurs."

  • Brett, even if you didn't imply that you aren't an expert on social media, you're still a complete tool. If you think that Twitter is the core of social networking then you should quit at the internet.

  • dude accept your inner douche, if you excel at something you should embrace it, BTW you REALLY don't excel at expressing your opinions on social media and technology very well since you have to keep correcting a justifying yourself all the while. Who calls them self a socmedia expert anyway? That's like saying i have a degree in masturbation and felching I couldn't think of anything more humiliating.

  • So many Social Media Douche Bags ,, now I just found another
