We are not connected to any of the accounts, people, or brands whose posts appear here. Screenshots and quoted posts are reproduced as commentary and criticism. Where a post has since been deleted or its author has changed their mind, that is worth knowing, and we will note it when we find out.

On the gambling section

The gambling posts collect jokes, bad beats, and the particular flavour of optimism that survives a losing streak. They are entertainment writing. Nothing in that section is betting advice, a strategy guide, or a suggestion that you should gamble at all — and nobody who has read a bad-beat thread to the end should need telling that the house does fine.

Gambling is restricted to adults in every jurisdiction we are aware of, and the legal position varies enormously from one country to the next. If you are going to gamble, know your local law and set a limit before you start rather than after. If it has stopped being fun, organisations such as GamCare, BeGambleAware, and the National Council on Problem Gambling offer free, confidential help.

Accuracy and outside links

We try to get things right, and we correct what we get wrong. Even so, this is an archive of internet humour, not a reference work — dates, attributions, and the original context of a decade-old post are not always recoverable. Treat it accordingly.

Some posts link to other sites. We check them when we publish and we cannot police them afterwards, so a link is not an endorsement of whatever that site does later.
